1967 Falcon Tudor Club Coupe

1967 Falcon Club Coupe

So, I have just fulfilled one of my dreams! I have bought a 1967 Falcon, here registered as a type Tudor 2A 2 door Club Coupe, 170 ci, 105 hp. I bought it from the second owner, totally fit for driving. Newly passed the technical test authority! My Falcon is manufactured in Oakville, Canada, 4 of january 1967 as vehicle no 144 792 ordered by Ford district of Newark. It was registered in Sweden on 31 december 1967, and owned since then by the first owner until 1998. And from autumn 2000 by me. It has a 6 cyl engine, and 3 speed gearbox. Colour: Medium Blue Metallic. A bench (sofa), no bucket seats. All in this car are from factory, except a radio with tape recorder. Even spark plugs, points, distributor cap and everything else looks original! And the engine sounds very good. Hopefully the oil and filter have been changed! It has a mileage of 130.000 km (=80.000 miles?) I just love it! It is really a good representative for the American art of car-building when it was on top of its era. No high expressive rear ends, just a midsize midsixtie, from the time when the society was bulit on the theme of the good society with good general standard for the good families. A period built on the early 60īs high political ambitions, personalized by John F Kennedy (-63) for example.
Greetings from Knivsta, Sweden
